Clay Pigeon Shooting for Groups...
Clay pigeon shooting is an established and popular group activity for corporate entertainment, birthday parties and stag / hen parties. Thousands of guests experience clay pigeon shooting at Adventure Sports each year, many having never shot before. Any group from two people up to 40 can be accommodated in a structured group session, more as part of a mixed activity event.
Three common group sessions are described below.
Clay Shooting Experience
An ideal option for a group of people who would like to give clay pigeon shooting a go. This one hour session will give each guest approximately 20 shots under the supervision of a CPSA instructor.
This clay shooting experience costs £30 per person, based on a minimum billing of six guests.

50 Shot Clay Shoot
These sessions give each participant approximately 50 shots. The group will normally be divided down into groups of between five and seven people. A CPSA qualified instructor will lead each group around a series of challenging targets. Tuition is given to each participant at each target whilst the other members of the group keep score and provide encouragement / banter from behind. Scores are kept throughout to produce an element of competition between the groups.
The emphasis for these sessions is to break as many clays as possible, not to delve in to detail about shooting techniques. If you are looking at getting into the sport of clay shooting this link will be more appropriate.

100 Shot Clay Pigeon Shoot and Team Flush
This second option will have a similar format as the fifty shot session but will include additional stands and two-man flush at the end of the event.
The flush involves two shooters working together to hit as many targets as possible. The targets are thrown from a variety of traps, in a random order. The targets keep coming and the pair of shooters need to work together to use their combined 40 shots effectively.
This option can be spread over a longer time period, typically 10.00 AM – 3.00 PM to allow for the additional shooting and a break for lunch.
Catering for this option will include: Tea / coffee throughout, bacon rolls & orange juice upon arrival, cottage pie lunch followed by treacle sponge pudding and a bottle of Moet for the winning team and the highest scoring pair on the flush.
This option will cost £115 per person including VAT, based on a minimum of ten guests.
