Tradition & Targets: Country Pursuits (Half-Day)

4x4 Off Road Driving as part of a Half Day Tradition and Targets Event

4x4 Driving, Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery are all part of the Tradition & Targets Half Day Event at our Warwickshire Venue. 

Classic country pursuits for a competitive
half day of Shooting and Driving!

 

HALF-DAY OPTION

Example Format:

    The Clubhouse - Wedgnock, Warwick
  • 9.30 am. Guests arrive at our purpose-built Corporate Event Centre, and are welcomed into our comfortable Clubhouse with unlimited tea or coffee. (Bacon rolls can be arranged on booking as extra - see our menu).
  • 10.00 am. Once everyone has arrived, teams will be arranged and a safety briefing given by the Event Manager.
  • 10.10 am. Teams then set out for the action, spending 45 to 60 minutes on each activity (depending how much time they have available).
  • 12.30 pm. Once the teams have completed all the activities they return to the Clubhouse for refreshments.
  • 12.40 pm. The scores are announced and a bottle of Champagne is presented to the winning team.
  • 12.50 pm. Guests depart or stay on for a rewarding barbecue lunch.

Times can easily to adjusted to fit in with your requirements.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

The half-day event will include all of the following activities:

Clay Shooting

Guests will shoot approximately 20 clays each from a variety of stands including ‘rabbits’, driven and going away targets, using Browning 12g or 20g (for the ladies) over and under shotguns and low recoil ammunition, whilst receiving instruction from our qualified Clay Pigeon Shooting Association Coaches. Most people hit more than 50%!

Archery

Great fun, and unlike the clays, you can see where it went if you miss! Shoot at Olympic size targets at 20 metres with recurve longbows whilst under the guidance of experienced instructors.

 

 

 

 

4x4 Off-Road Adventure4x4 Drivingin teh Ice

Guests take it in turns to drive one of our fully equipped Landrover Discoveries, assisted by an experienced instructor around our purpose-built off-road course negotiating steep hills, side slopes, water and yes, you guessed it, lots more mud! The vehicle can carry the driver, instructor and three terrified passengers at a time!

£79 + vat per person which includes:

Group size 6 to 150 (Ideally 6 people per team if possible)

The following items can be used to enhance your Country Pursuits event:

  • Overalls - a great way to keep your guests warm and mud proofed! £3.50
  • Bacon Rolls upon arrival - a great way to start the day. £4.30
  • Cakes and Biscuits - at the end of the event. £4
  • Barbeque lunch - Sausage, burger, salad and potatoes - a great feed! £9.10 (lots of other catering options are available - see our catering menu)
