Adventure Sports

Safety & Insurance...

Adventure Sports has operated activities since 1987 and has an established and well deserved safety record. Many of the activities we offer have an element of risk and could result in injury if participants act irresponsibly.

Safety

Thorough Risk Assessments are carried out on all activities and a regular review process is used to ensure the safest practices are employed.

Professional equipment is used to ensure safety and reliability and all equipment maintenance is scheduled and recorded thoroughly.

No recognised qualifications exist for many of the activities we offer. Instead Adventure Sports has developed an in-house staff development programme to ensure correct procedures and practices are used throughout.

Every event organiser is welcome to see copies of Risk Assessments, Safety Policy and Insurance Certificates - email copies can easily be sent out.

Insurance

Adventure Sports has Public Liability Insurance to the value of £5 million. This covers any incidents resulting in damage to another parties property or injury to a third party.

Your guests will be fully covered if Adventure Sports were negligent in any way.

This does not cover personal injury due to accident (for example if you broke your arm whilst diving for cover during a game of Paintball - you would not be covered as this would be considered an accident).

Please contact the office if you would like a copy of our Public Liability Insurance.

General Points

Most of our activities require the participants to sign an acknowledgment of risk. This is purely a way to ensure guests understand what is involved and that an element of risk exists. It is not a disclaimer.
