Paintball Organisers Guide...

The following advice may be useful for anyone organising a Paintball session:

Organising a Paintball Game

1) The first step is to get an indication of numbers in your group. This can be anything from one person up to 80.

2) Call the office (01926 491 948) or send us an email and we will let you know dates that are available. Choose your date and we will send you a booking confirmation form. This contains information about the booking (date and time), clothing advice, directions and it will also request a deposit.

3) Get your group organised. Let them know about the date and when the deposit is due.

4) Collect the deposits from everyone as soon as you can. The deposits are non-refundable so do make sure you collect the money off each person. Don't pay for other people yourself as if they don't turn up on the day you will be out of pocket.

Deposit Details

A deposit of £20 per person will be required before the event date (usually two weeks in advance). This covers the £10 game fee plus your first 200 paint pellets.

The deposit can be paid in three ways:

  • Cheque made out to “Adventure Sports Ltd.”
  • Visa, Delta, Switch or MasterCard
  • Cash - if dropped into the office

If we do not receive the deposit by the date stated we will release the booking.

The deposit is non-refundable. If people do not turn up on the day their deposit will be lost - it cannot be used to reduce another persons bill.

If any players turn up who have not prepaid a deposit, they may be able to join in if there are spaces available.

Costs

The cost for the Paintball is broken down into a Game Fee and Paint Pellets. The Game Fee gives each player:

  • Camouflage all-in-one overalls
  • Tippmann 98 Semiautomatic Paintball Gun fitted with 200 shot hopper
  • Scott panorama goggles (these protect your eyes, mouth and ears)

The game fee for a half-day or full day is £10 per person.

The Paint Pellets are sold in:

  • Pots of 100 pellets @ £6
  • Bags of 500 pellets @ £25

As a general guide you will use approximately 500 pellets during a half-day and 900 pellets during a full day. (We do not take back pellets at the end of the day and only pellets purchased from Adventure Sports can be used.)

We sell chocolate bars and crisps throughout the day. Soft drinks are also available.

Smoke grenades are usually available @ £2 each or three for £5. These produce a big cloud of white smoke for approximately one minute. Smoke grenades are classed as fireworks and can only be sold and used by those who are 18 years old or over.

Organisers Incentive

Organising a group can be hard work. If you organise a group of 20 or more people we will give the organiser 1,000 pellets free of charge.

Paintball games are only run for 20 or more guests. If you have less then 20 guests in your group, Adventure Sports reserves the right to change the date of the booking. This will only be done as a last resort if other groups fail to pay their deposits.
