Stu Stretton
Karting Team
Stuart and his Dad joined us when the indoor site they ran in Harbury closed, due to the Pandemic. Now he says he's enjoying the great outdoors instead, and enjoying the sunshine…. currently!
Stu's job is ensuring the karting activity runs safely, efficiently and most of all everyone has fun! From maintaining over 20 karts to running race events there is always something to do. He throws some mean shapes up there with his Madonna style headset on!! He says he loves that every group is different, from kids birthday parties and first time drivers to experienced racers or "enthusiastic" stag groups! Regardless if they are karting for fun or racing to win he says he loves to see them enjoying the thrill of karting. He particularly enjoys helping our junior drivers improve their driving, as he has tons of patience. He raced karts for several years and won multiple championships, but now he enjoys helping others enjoy getting behind the wheel and experience the thrill of karting. Stu is also a certified rocket scientist, (very cool we know!)
In his spare time you will find him behind the camera, as he is an award winning internationally published motorsport photographer, with his work seen by over 100million people worldwide so far.
He says the Adventure Sports site is fantastic, you see so many people enjoying a huge range of activities often for the first time. The 'Green team' have been most welcoming and friendly. Stu loves anything with wheels so we hope to get him testing some of our other activities!
